It is said that all roads go to Rome. For sure the Francigena Way, one of the oldest pilgrimage ways, that, going through Rome it is arriving in Jerusalem, coming from England.
This way was originally tracked by Abbott Sigerico, appointed Bishop of Canterbury in 990, and who is narrating in his diary the 80 stops to reach Rome where he was called to receive the endowment. The Francigena Way is coming exactly through this way! San Gimignano, Cole di Val d'Elsa, Monteriggioni, Siena, are only few of the tuscan stops crossed by the path of this world-famous itinerary. These are among the most beautiful tracks in Tuscany, and with an e-bike it will be much easier!. Let yourself caress by nature and by the magic of the hamlets!
